Western Front Association -The Western Front Association (WFA) was formed with the aim of furthering interest in The Great War of 1914-1918. We also aim to perpetuate the memory, courage and comradeship of all those on all sides who served their countries in France and Flanders and their own countries during The Great War.
The site contains much interesting material.
at www.cwgc-virtual-cemetery.org is an online, interactive tool (from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission) for the classroom (being launched on March 20th), and is packed with thought-provoking activities and lesson plans for Key Stage 2 and 3 pupils studying Citizenship, History and Religious Studies. Designed for use on an interactive whiteboard, the resource is also accessible through PCs and laptops.
