Many thanks for all the photographs and documents

Lancelot Robson, possibly Hugh Lancelot Robson (1901 census)
A photograph taken in 1949.
Lancelot was, in 1911, we now believe, working with Norman Phillips, running a fruit growing business in the Burpham area.
The Phillips family maintained contact with Lance until at least the late 1940s for he was at, and gave a speech at, the wedding of Douglas Phillip’s daughter when she married at Basingstoke in 1949.
On the 1901 Census
he is shown as a Civil Engineer, living with his parents in Guildford.
He was born in Stoke next Guildford in 1882 and died in 1953.
His father was, we believe a Church of England Minister,
possibly in Guildford (Holy Trinity?) as was his elder brother,
Herbert Eric (b: 1878). Living Oxfordshire
